A Montescaglioso San Rocco 2010 con un nuovo carro trionfale

(ANSA) - MONTESCAGLIOSO (MATERA), 2 LUG - E' stata avviata a Montescaglioso (Matera) la riqualificazione del carro trionfale della festa del Santo Patrono, San Rocco.
Il comitato feste ha affidato al maestro materano Michelangelo Pentassuglia, autore di numerosi carri di cartapesta per la festa del 2 luglio a Matera, il compito di ripensare il manufatto di cartapesta. L'opera che, al contrario di quella di Matera non viene distrutta, venne realizzata nel 1938 dall'artista Luigi Morano. Il carro, che misura 5,60 metri di lunghezza per 2,50 di larghezza, sara' benedetto il 31 luglio prossimo e a meta' agosto sara' impiegato per la festa del Patrono di Montescaglioso. (ANSA).
